The problem we kept seeing
Food producers with exceptional products — grass-fed beef, artisan cheese, single-origin coffee — were losing shelf space to imports because they couldn't prove their story. Buyers at major retailers wanted traceability documentation. Regulators were writing rules that required structured traceability data. But the tools to meet that demand were built for multinationals with traceability teams and six-figure software budgets.
Small producers were left with spreadsheets, PDFs, and hope.
What we built
PlaybookOS is a product passport platform designed specifically for small and mid-sized food brands. It generates GS1 Digital Link QR codes that link to blockchain-verified product records — origin, certifications, batch details, supply chain steps. Scan the code with any smartphone. No app. No account. No technical expertise required.
Every record is anchored on the IOTA mainnet, a low-cost public ledger. That means:
Independent verification
Anyone — buyer, auditor, regulator — can check the timestamp and data integrity without trusting PlaybookOS.
Low per-record fees
IOTA charges a small transaction fee per anchor (a fraction of a cent following the May 2025 network update). We absorb this cost into our plans so small brands can anchor every batch individually without enterprise pricing.
Permanent proof
Once anchored, the record can't be altered. Not by us. Not by the producer. Not by anyone.

What we believe
